Pig farms feeding system
The feeding system is necessary to provide pigs with required amount of food. There are two types of feeding - ad libitum or metered feeding.
Usually, all system consists of 3 or 2 components, they are:

There are two different types of feeding systems. The most flexible and adaptable to most circumstances is chain disc feed delivery. This closed circuit system can function at different angles and curves. Food is delivered by means of a flexible auger (Flex-auger system) coming from the feed bin. In some cases it’s more preferable and practical to use only flexible auger system in order to transport feed to troughs. Both systems deliver feed using a dropped pipe that runs directly in the feeder or the electronic sow feeding station ESF.

There are different ways to feed animals. Depending on the type of livestock, RONAR RUSS recommends the use of the following feed systems:

Disc Chain Feed System
There are different ways to feed animals. Depending on the type of livestock, RONAR RUSS recommends the use of the following feed systems:
- For pigs: the long feed troughs with dispensers and dropped pipes positioned above the trough. This system is ideal for livestock homogeneity (bulk composition) and limiting the food consumption.
- Stable sows: individual distributors for each sow equipped with a dropped pipe for feed distribution from dispenser to the trough (individual plastic trough with lifted edge, stainless steel trough, a ceramic trough in the floor or above the floor).
- Sows in group pens: long feeding trough with dispensers and dropped pipe located above the trough or Electronic feeding system with feeding stations.
- Gestation sows: individual plastic or stainless steel trough equipped with a dropped pipe and a dispenser.
- Rearing pigs: Dry feeding feeders (rectangular bin feeders), equipped with a telescopic dropped tube.
- Finishing pigs: Dry/liquid feeding feeders equipped with a telescopic dropped tube.
